Justin Sutton & North of 49 with Special Guest Lester Slade!

August 30th Pub

North of 49 is a band built on years of road-worn experience. Each member brings a lifetime of musical knowledge, playing everything from small-town dives to festival stages, and it’s that experience that has shaped their sound. At this year’s Country Music Alberta Awards, Justin was been nominated for Roots Artist and Video of the year. Joining him with nominations were Darla Daniels for Specialty Instrument player of the year and Mat Patenaude for Bass Player of the year.

With a blend of old-school country roots and a modern twist, North of 49 crafts a brand of Canadian country that hits home with audiences of all kinds. From the fiddle to the rhythm section, every note carries the weight of tradition but feels fresh and alive — a testament to the band’s ability to balance respect for the past with an ear toward the future.

They don’t just play country music — they live it. Whether it’s a quiet ballad or an all-out honky-tonk jam, North of 49 brings an authenticity and power to the stage that’s impossible to ignore. It’s music that connects with people on a real, personal level, and that’s what keeps audiences coming back for more.

Over the last year they have had the chance to open for The Road Hammers, Gary Allan, Steven Lee Olsen and James Barker Band. North of 49 delivers a true representation of the country music genre.

Geordie Keiffer

September 20th Ballroom

Geordie Kieffer returns to the Ballroom for his Hush Hush Tour— and it’s about to getdangerously fun.

Get ready for wild energy, outrageous bangers, and a night you won’t forget.

The impish self-proclaimed “God Father of Agro Pop” writes hard core pop bangers that bark and bite, drawing influence from both his questionable past and the city-wide playground of his L.A. hometown. His sound is something novel: a sexxy and comedic dark romp through Pop, Hip-Hop and Electro that dives head first into your brain, and just won’t get out. Like an oddly charming, outlaw dwelling on the outskirts of pop music, Geordie Kieffer is dangerous, and oddly refreshing.

Propagandhi

September 22nd Ballroom

Legendary riffs, razor-sharp lyrics, and 100% raw energy.

Propagandhi described themselves as “three skids from the most backwards reaches of the Canadian prairies, forged in the flames of mid-80’s political hardcore and early-80’s speed metal.”

The band hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Their music is both enlightened and incendiary, and many consider them to have picked up where the Dead Kennedys left off.

Allan Rayman

November 5th Ballroom

Whoever Allan Rayman is, he’s made a hell of a body of work so far. The Toronto based artist has delivered one head-scratching, hypnotic and heavenly project after another, including 'Hotel Allan', 'Roadhouse 01', and the unforgettable 'CHRISTIAN'. Along the way, he generated over 250 million streams, sold out tours in Europe, USA and Canada, and shined at festivals, including Reading & Leeds, Bonnaroo, Rifflandia and Lollapalooza, and has collaborated with the likes of Jessie Reyez, Alex da Kid and James Vincent McMorrow.

His most recent album ‘#1 Girl” is a group of “demos" fictionally written and recorded by #1 Girl, whom we first meet during the intro of The All Allan Hour. Set in the year of 1994, Allan writes the album from her perspective and sings in her tone of voice to the best of his ability, delivering us a sonic departure of the familiar Allan Rayman we’ve come to know.

Mac Demarco

 December 4th Ballroom

Mac DeMarco is the laid-back, genre-blurring indie rock hero of the 2010s, known for his signature “slacker rock” sound, offbeat humor, and effortlessly cool songwriting.

His signature mix of dreamy, chorus-drenched guitars and laid-back grooves evolved further with This Old Dog (2017) and Here Comes the Cowboy (2019), albums that leaned more into introspection and stripped-down instrumentation. Despite his chilled-out sound, DeMarco is a magnetic live performer, known for wild antics, goofy stage presence, and an undeniable connection with his fans.

Beyond the music, Mac has become a cultural icon—his DIY ethos, vintage aesthetic, and off-kilter sense of humor have made him a beloved figure in indie circles. Whether he’s crooning about love, nostalgia, or existential musings, DeMarco remains effortlessly authentic, proving that sometimes the best way to stand out is to simply do your own thing.
